  • Counselling sessions are 50 minutes in length.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a charge of 100% of the cost of a session.

  • If you are claiming services through employee benefits, it is your responsibility to ensure that your counsellor’s designation is covered by your insurance.

Josephine Rwankuba MACPC, BA

I am an Associate Professional Counsellor with a year of practicum experience and a master’s degree in counselling from Horizon College & Seminary.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples manage anxiety, depression, spiritual issues, and relationship challenges.

My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Integrative Christian Approach, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered techniques. This integrative blend helps clients develop healthier thinking patterns, strengthen coping skills, and address the unique aspects of their lives.

Beyond my counselling practice, I have over 10 years of experience leading women’s ministry groups in our local church. This experience has deepened my passion for supporting others in their personal and spiritual growth.

I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, work toward their goals, and experience lasting transformation. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, I strive to foster trust and encourage personal growth.

Professional Background: I have been counselling since 2010, holding a Master’s degree with a focus on high sensitivity, spirituality and faith, and couples counselling. I am the mother of three children and a wife to my husband. Our family resides in rural Saskatchewan, where my husband and I both grew up and married in 2010.
